To deliver “performance with a purpose” by investing only in municipal issues whose proceeds have a positive impact from an environmental, social and/or governance perspective.
Who Can Invest
Any family member through Sedgwick Street Fund, LLC.
Who Might Want to Invest
An investor who:
- Wants steady income and/or an alternative to the core fixed income portfolio.
- Wants to align their investments for impact and favor investments that benefit underserved and lower socio-economic communities.
- Is not looking for capital appreciation.
Strategy and Fund Description
The Social Impact Fixed Income Fund was separated from the Social Impact Equity Fund as of July 1, 2021. The fund is managed by Alliance Bernstein and the primary portfolio manager is Eric Glass. The Fund invests exclusively in tax-exempt bonds with an average maturity of 7-10 years.
