  • Wants the potential for superior long-term returns and is willing to assume a higher level of risk.
  • Can accept the inherent illiquidity.

SEP’s fifth real estate portfolio, Real Estate Portfolio V (“REP V”) was formed in August 2021. The family has committed $8,250,000 to this fund through 42 investors.

The portfolio contains two underlying investments:

Thackeray Partners

This firm is located in Dallas, Texas and was founded in 2005.  The fund is a geographically diverse U.S. Value Added Real Estate manager with a focus on Multifamily and Industrials in both employment and population rich markets.  The manager seeks to add value by purchasing or developing real estate properties, rehabbing, securing occupancy, and then selling to other real estate investors.

Harrison Street VIII

We are participating in Harrison Street’s eighth Fund. The real estate professionals running the fund have extensive experience, and their approach to business is very focused. Like their Funds I and III, Fund V specifically targets student and senior housing, self-storage facilities and medical office buildings, all in partnership with experienced local developers. Harrison Street has become an industry leader in these areas. With carefully selected locations, current demographic trends should ensure continued high demand for these projects.
